CDS Profile

Charles Sharon is QB Omar Jacobs favorite target, and a solid mid-round WR prospect for the 2006 NFL Draft.  Sharon is Bowling Green's all-time career touchdown reception leader with 34  in his four years.  Sharon is a little on the smallish side, but has  average but not elite speed, and very good hands.  His production in college is so good partly because of the success of Bowling Green's offense over the years, but do not think that that dominance should be looked on as a negative.  His touchdowns show that he is always a threat to score, and Sharon is also a good punt returner.  Consistency is also a huge positive, as Sharon produces catches, yards, and touchdowns every game.  Overall, Sharon is a prolific college reciever who may not be able to translate his game to the pro's due to limitations in stature and pure speed.  However, his production in college should get him drafted somewhere on day two of the 2006 NFL Draft.
