CDS Profile

A little short for the NFL at 5-11, but he is really put together and is getting some serious national exposure and definitely deserves to be mentioned as a possible NFL prospect. Not only was he named to the 2005 Lindy's Pre-season Division II All-American Team, but he was the Bulldogs' leading receiver the past three seasons.  The 5-11, 214-pound wideout is as tough as they come and displays dependable hands.  Not a true game breaker, but he could develop into a Troy-Brown-like 3rd-down go-to guy in the right system. He is also dangerous as a return man, and his versatility really enhances his chances. Brewster reminds me a little of Oklahoma's former receiver Mark Clayton, who was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 1st round with the 22nd pick of the 2005 NFL Draft. He will likely not hear his name called during the 2006 NFL draft, but is destined to be a priority FA for someone and will be tough to cut because of all of the things he can do.
