This was Carlton's 2nd year as a Division IA football player, and because he put up such impressive numbers last year (2nd on the squad in total tackles) after trasnferring in from junior college you've got to like his upside.  He is still raw, but his physical assets are quite impressive.  He will remind some of a young, poor-man's Lawrence Taylor.   If Carlton continues to develop with the pace that he did the first year in this league look for him to be in a camp next year and to be somebody's starting MLB not too far down the road--once he gets the benefit of pro coaching.  He surpassed last year's numbers and could have a shot hearing his name called late on day two of the 2006 NFL Draft or as a UDFA.  He is better than many people think....
