CDS Profile

Brent has been a major deep threat for Saluki QB Joel Sambursky over the past couple seasons and the two seniors really made opposing defenses sit up and take notice in 2005.  Brent gets good separation from the Gateway defensive backs he faces, runs good patterns, and explodes out of his cuts with amazing quickness.  He is a bit slight, and will need to add 10 pounds of muscle to his frame in order to survive the pounding at the next level.  Guys with his speed and production are always hot commodities in the draft and he has a very good shot at being a late-round pick.  If he can add strength, he could find a home as a #3 receiver on a team that employs the vertical offense very well.  He has a shot of being a day two selection in the 2006 NFL draft.
