CDS Profile
Recently selected by KFFL as a top small school NFL Draft Prospect. At this point Grimes might be one of the best Division II prospects for the 2006 NFL Draft. He is definitely the top defensive back prospect (Division II) for the 2006 NFL Draft. It is the third preseason All-America honor for Grimes this season. Nice size, blazing speed and above all….production. He finished 2004 with an amazing 6 interceptions and 14 passes defended. He will be raw with his technique but that is acceptable. The one thing he has to prove to the NFL scouts is foot-speed, so watch closely for his post season workouts, if he runs in the 4.45 range he has a legitimate shot to be selected in the later rounds of the 2006 NFL Draft.
