Brandon is inexperienced as a receiver, having played mostly safety prior to the 2005 season.  He really came on towards the end of the 2005 season though, and played extremely well in UCF's bowl game.  He has great size as a wide receiver, having similiar physical qualities to that of Terrell Owens. Blessed with a terrific size, speed combo Brandon finished the '05 season with 74 receptions for 1,195 yards. Brandon has sure hands and does a good job of not letting the ball into his body. Because of his size and legit speed , he will pose matchup problems against smaller CB's. Played in this years Hula Bowl and finished the game with 5 receptions for 101 yards and 1 TD. Although Brandon is a bit raw at the WR position , he has all the tools to make the transition to the NFL. Impressed at the combine and displayed better than expected speed and also was impressive in agility drills and pass catching drills. Brandon Marshall is a borderline 1st Day selection , likely to be drafted in rounds 3-4.

2003: Played in all 12 games ... finished the season third on the team in receptions with 28 ... totaled 377 receiving yards and two touchdowns ... made first collegiate start at Virginia Tech (Aug. 31) ... caught two passes for 40 yards ... . threw a 56-yard pass to Darcy Johnson on a reverse pass on a critical third and inches call in the third quarter ... the throw set up a touchdown to bring UCF to within seven at 28-21, after trailing 28-0 to start the game ... breakout performance vs. Florida Atlantic with career-highs in receptions (5) and receiving yards (104) ... hauled in a 29-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Schneider ... weaved through traffic and broke several tackles on a career-long 44-yard catch ... tied for second on the team with four receptions at Kent State (Sept. 27) ... gained 39 yards receiving vs. the Golden Flashes ... second on the team with four catches for 33 yards at Akron (Oct. 18) ... broke out of a four-game slump with five receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown at West Virginia (Nov. 1) ... caught a 27-yard touchdown pass, the second touchdown of his career.

2002: Marshall was one of two true freshmen to get game experience during the season as he logged minutes in nine games ... had two receptions for 18 yards, both coming against Liberty ... 22-yard reception at Syracuse (Sept. 20) ... ended the game with three catches for 38 yards vs. the Orangemen.

High School: Marshall graduated from Lake Howell High School in 2002 ... played for coach Mike Bisceglia ... accounted for more than 1,500 yards in total offense, 1,056 through the air and 450 on the ground ... threw 11 touchdowns and also scored four defensively, two on interceptions and a pair on fumble recoveries ... all-state selection and was chosen as the Seminole County Utility Player of the Year ... held the 43rd position on Bill Buchalter's "Super Florida 100." ... chosen to play in the all-Central Florida game where he was named offensive MVP ... lettered in both basketball and track for three years ... won the Class 3A state triple-jump championship with a jump of 48 feet 6 ¾ inches his senior year.
