Anthony returned as the headliner of the Syracuse secondary in 2005, and made his senior season his finest. He is a very solid run-support safety, who lacks prototypical NFL size and big-league makeup speed. Still, he gets enough done to draw some interest as a nickel back initially who could be seasoned into a starting role as a SS at the next level. He has started 35 straight games and played in 11 as a true freshman in 2002. He is a headhunter who delivers a bigger blow than his size would suggest, and he has good enough coverage skills to play zone coverage inside at the next level. He is not fast enough to be tried at cornerback for which his size would be more appropriate. Still, he just makes plays in both the run and passing game, and is always around the football. Is football smart and works to improve. He is a bubble guy for day one of the 2006 NFL draft at this stage. Did not impress with his forty at the Combine, but looked good in the drills, and measured in a tad taller than we thought he was.
