Prior to this season I would have said that this kid is the best back in C-USA outside of DeAngelo Williams. He reminded me a lot of 2nd-round pick J.J. Arrington from last season's draft when healthy, and he has the skill set to be a solid change-of-pace back for just about any team in the NFL. Anthony is a great kid, a model student who always works hard, and he is a slasher who has the toughness to take it inside and the burst to bounce it outside just as effectively. He hasn't been used much in the passing game as of yet, but he has decent hands as well. There are no real weaknesses in Anthony's game, except that he could work on his blocking. Unfortunately, he has had trouble seeing the field the past two years due to nagging injuries, and the 2005 season was a disaster in that regard. He barely saw the field this past year at all and was unable to do anything with it when he did see it. There must be serious lingering problems there, and as a result Anthony will have to be checked out very carefully. He has gone from a possible first-day guy for the 2006 NFL draft two years ago to a 50-50 UDFA guy now.
