2004: Has recorded 100 or more tackles in each of his first three seasons. His 148 assists rank ninth on the Green Wave career charts. Needs 19 tackles to crack the top 10 on the Tulane career list. A preseason All-C-USA selection by Street & Smith's and the No. 19 rated inside linebacker in the nation by The Sporting News.

2004: A third team All-Conference USA selection. Led Tulane in tackles (107) and quarterback sacks (4). Ranked fourth in C-USA and 29th in the nation in tackles per game while his four fumbles forced were second in the league and tied for 10th in the nation. Made 10 or more tackles in six games with a career-high 16, nine solo, plus a pair of tackles for loss and a fumble forced versus Southern Miss (9/25). Posted two sacks against Florida A&M (9/11) and added single sacks against East Carolina (10/9) and UAB (10/23) while forcing fumbles in the FAMU, USM, Navy (11/6) and Army (11/13) games. Third on the team in tackles for loss with 7.5. Collected 12 tackles with one for loss versus Louisville (12/4). Tallied 11 stops each versus Houston (10/30), Mississippi State (9/4) and Army, and added a pair of pass break-ups, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble versus the Cadets. Credited with eight tackles and a sack at ECU and made a touchdown-saving tackle, catching the Pirate punt returner from behind. Picked off his first career pass at Memphis while totalling a team-leading 12 tackles, six solo. Named to the first team All-Louisiana squad for the second straight season. Also a CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team selection.

2003: Played in 11 games with 10 starts at weakside linebacker despite battling a pair of injuries during the season - missed most of the TCU (9/1) game and the entire ECU game (11/22). Still tallied five or more tackles in every game in which he played and earned All-Louisiana honors. Finished the season with 102 tackles, 60 solo, to rank third on the Tulane team. Recorded 10-plus tackles in four games, 10 vs. Army (9/20), 12 vs. Houston (10/11), 16 vs. Louisville and 12 vs. Navy (11/1). Played his top game of the season versus Louisville (10/17) with 16 tackles (nine solo), a tackle for loss and two pass break-ups. Blocked a Memphis PAT try (10/25) which Tulane returned for two points. Selected as a preseason candidate for the Butkus Award Candidate as the top linebacker in the nation.

2002: A second team Freshman All-America selection by The Sporting News, which also named him the Conference USA Defensive Freshman of the Year. Tulane's top tackler with 114 stops, 67 solo. Ranked second in the nation among all Division I-A true freshmen in tackles. Named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team. A second team All-Louisiana choice. Led the Green Wave in tackles in four games. Tops among all Tulane linebackers in number of plays. First true freshman to lead Tulane in tackles since 1977. Forced three fumbles to lead the team in that category, and added four pass break-ups, seven tackles for loss and three quarterback sacks. Had six double-digit tackle games in 2002. Earned his third sack of the season in the Hawai'i Bowl (12/25) and forced a fumble on the play. Also broke up a pass and collected four tackles in the contest. Established a new career high with 14 stops versus Southern Miss (11/23) while adding a tackle for loss and a pass break up. Compiled 12 tackles versus Army (11/16).Made 11 stops, seven solo, versus TCU (11/9) and added 11 with nine solo tackles versus Cincinnati (10/12). Ten-tackle games came versus Houston (9/7) and Memphis (9/21) with a PBU versus Houston and a TFL in the latter contest. Tallied sacks in the Southern (8/31) and East Carolina (9/14) games and tied for fifth on the team with seven tackles for loss. Made several big plays in the Army game, forcing a fumble, breaking up a pass and collecting a tackle for loss after previously forcing a fumble in the East Carolina game. Made seven or more tackles in 10 of 13 games.

High School: Chosen to represent Georgia in the Florida-Georgia All-Star Game. Honorable mention 5A all-state choice as a senior. First team All-DeKalb County selection in 2001. Named one of Georgia's Top 50 prospects. Selected his county's Defensive Player of the Month for November. As a senior, compiled 120 tackles, including 12 for losses. Had 98 solo tackles and seven quarterback sacks. Grabbed two interceptions and broke up four passes. On offense, caught seven passes for 78 yards and rushed four times for 48 yards. As a junior, tallied 92 tackles with two sacks and caught eight passes for 154 yards. Helped lead Stephenson to the Region 7-5A Championship and the state quarterfinals his senior year. Coached by Ron Gartrell. Also played baseball in high school and will run track in 2002. Chose Tulane because "I loved the coaching staff and the players and I felt I would fit right in and feel at home in New Orleans."

Personal: Anthony Devon Cannon. Born December 31, 1984 in Pensacola, Fla. The son of Alice Cannon-Camp and Rudolph Camp. Majoring in organizational information technology. Earned Conference USA Academic Honor Roll recognition for 2003-04. High school teammates Sean Lucas and Israel Route are also on the Green Wave team.
