Adam Jennings is a name most NFL personnell people are talking about. Jennings showed well at this year's combine , posting a 4.44 in the 40. Draft Projection: Late 2nd day pick and will primariliy be used on special teams as a KR/PR specialist. Whether or not Jennings can prove to be a relaible weapon in the passing game remains to be seen but his versatility could prove to be valuable for the right NFL team. Serves as a weapon in a variety of ways - as a kick returner, wide receiver, on special teams and on end-arounds ... really came on strong toward the end of 2004 and established himself as one of the top performers on offense ... served as a reserve wide receiver for most of 2004 but saw two starts at the end of the year ... one of three great return men the Bulldogs have on their roster, along with Clifton Smith and Paul Williams ... entered preseason practice as the starter at one of the receiver positions ... an Academic All-WAC honoree who annually contends for scholastic honors. (2004) Played in all 12 games, starting two ... had 22 receptions for 280 yards and five touchdowns, including one in the bowl win over Virginia ... his receiving yardage total ranked third on the team ... also had 11 rushes for 103 yards and a TD ... had six games of over 100 all-purpose yards ... his best game came against SMU, when he had 56 yards rushing and a TD and 45 yards receiving ... entered the Rice game with just two career TD receptions but had two in one game against the Owls ... had all five of his touchdown receptions in the last five games. (2003) Played in all 14 games, starting one ... averaged 39.5 all-purpose yards per game ... caught 11 passes for 118 yards ... also had 162 yards rushing and a touchdown ... his production trailed off from his freshman year due to the return of Bernard Berrian, who missed all but one quarter of 2002 with a knee injury ... had his best game of the year against San Jose State, scoring a touchdown on an end-around and another when he recovered a blocked punt and ran 20 yards for a TD ... returned kickoffs the entire year with Bernard Berrian ... had a long kickoff return of 35 yards ... also had 14 tackles on special teams ... his 24-yard reception in the bowl game was his longest of the season. (2002) Played in all 14 games, starting six ... caught 34 passes for 310 yards and a TD ... caught six passes for 62 yards against Oregon ... his 59-yard punt return for a touchdown helped light up Bulldog Stadium and led Fresno State to an upset of 22nd-ranked Colorado State ... had 140 all-purpose yards against CSU, eventually racking up 1,019 on the season, third most on the team ... Fresno State Scholar-Athlete ... an Academic All-WAC selection ... recipient of the Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award. (2001) Redshirted ... member of the Dean's List.

High School: Rushed for 1,027 yards and 10 touchdowns ... also caught 40 passes for 647 yards and seven touchdowns ... was a special teams terror, returning three punts and one kickoff for touchdowns ... selected the Sacramento Bee's All-Star team ... was the Sierra Foothill League offensive Most Valuable Player ... won the section meet in the 200 meters.

Personal: Born Nov. 17, 1982 ... has a brother, Darryl, and a sister, Savannah McCoy ... lists his favorite athlete as Emmitt Smith ... was teammates in high school with current Bulldogs Matt Stevenson and Doug Roush.
