**Demarcus has blinding speed and can make plays all over the field. He is obviously undersized for a defensive end and although he could make a fine situational pass rusher in a 4-3. He is more suited to be utilized as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defensive scheme.
**Demarcus is not only a dominating pass rusher but he is also a stout run defender as well, although he could definitely us some more strength and better technique. He displays a sudden burst of speed off the edge, plays with exceptional balance and immediately alters his angle of attack. He is physical and likes to get involved in the action. He is also athletic enough to twist or stunt, and he uses his hands well to fight off blocks.
**He has been downgraded by some due to the level of competition he played against in the Sun Belt Conference, but he looked explosive in the 2005 Hula Bowl against top competition.
