A 3 year starter at OG with the Lobo's. He met with coaches this spring and volunteered to move to OT. This versatility definately improves his draft stock. Claude has very quick feet and is a destructive force when pulling from either the OG or OT position. Relentless in locking on and driving his man to the turf in the run game. Weakness prior to this year was pass blocking. He still needs some technique work in that area, but having played a year at LT, he has probably had the necessary experience to be considered a very versatile line candidate coming into the draft. Claude was voted to 3rd team all american and 1st team MWC. Claude has also a great leader for the Lobo's. He was voted by his teammates to be a 2004 captain, and also speaking to the media for his team. If he polishes his technique a little more he could be drafted early on day 2.
