CDS Profile
Chris is the most experienced player coming back for the 2004 season on the entire Hurricane roster with 26 career starts. He is equally adept at run blocking as he is at pass protecting but he doesn’t jump out at you with either. He has improved each year and he is a hard worker. Myers has good lower body strength and has the quickness to pull and trap. He is not a super athlete but he has enough balance and agility to get up field and block in the open field. He earned 2003 Big East All-Conference 2nd team honors last year and he has proven to be very durable. Chris has been moved from guard to right tackle this year (2004). He hasn\'t played his new position particularly well, he is having trouble with those outside speed rushers. Regardless, his true position is guard and I feel that\'s where he will play in the NFL. He will get a strong look from NFL scouts next year, but with such a strong offensive line class he will probably slip a little in the draft.
