CDS Profile
Charles is a speed receiver with decent hands, a good vertical leap, and a through-the-roof 40 yard dash time. He is a workout warrior who makes a lot of plays for his team.** Scouting Report:* Pro: Good footwork...very fast...great dexterity...decent, but not great hands...very athletic specimen from head to toe...has big play ability and can break away from most defenses with ease.** Con: Not the cleanest route runner...smallish (under 200lbs.) which is not a good thing, especially at his height...minor character concerns...not the total package of some other smaller receivers like Mark Clayton.** Frederick is a good check down receiver. He's not going to be the guy who fights for position or gets underneath to make the big plays. He does show some potential in his deep routes and posts, but he could get killed over the middle in the NFL. Injuries limited this explosive player's production severely in 2004 and he remains one of the biggest question marks of the '05 draft at this point in time (late December)** NFL Comparison: Freddie Mitchell
