CDS Profile
Calvin was looked upon highly by most prognosticators going into the '04 season, even CDS had him ranked in our annual top 100 prospects list. However, his lack of downright strength may cause his stock to fall a significant amount come April.** Pro: Armstrong has been blessed with incredible size and athleticism. He has really good technique and is an excellent pass-blocker.** Con: A man of his size should really possess much greater strength. I'll be thoroughly surprised if he can put up the 225 bar more than 20 times. He is a mountain, but is also a liability in the ground game, as he just doesn't have the strength to move the pile. Also had some character concerns coming out of high school.** Summary: Calvin looks like he'll be an adequate day two pick. Something of a project player who is really going to need to hit the weight room in the NFL if he wants to be successful. Anyone with his size has potential, he just needs to realize that potential and turn it into ability.** NFL COMPARISON: Kelly Butler
