CDS Profile
Braylon continued to be a benchmark of consistency in his senior year in Ann Arbor. Has every tool you look for when evaluating WR talent except world class speed. Still running in the 4.45 range, he should be a big play guy in the pros. Braylon is a tall WR and very lean at 205. Braylon had his best year yet, snagging 97 balls and crossing the stripe for 15 touchdowns. He could have gone pro last year but would have been lost in the mix with all the great receivers of last year. Edwards took home the Biletnikoff in November and will most likely be the first WR taken in April. Wears the coveted number 1 for the Wolverines that David Terrell and Marquise Walker wore before him. Braylon finished with back-to-back-to-back 1000 yard receiving seasons, which not even the great Desmond Howard or any other Michigan Wolverine has done. Should be a top 5 pick come April. His speed is questioned by some, as it is not true world-class, burner type--but really he is a terrific WR whose only weakness is perfect consistency. He will make the impossible catch look easy, but occassionaly drops the easy one. Still has not learned to catch easy slants and out cut routes with automatic precision, but this can be improved with his natural talent. He has great size and will battle for the ball. Specializes in laying out for the tough catch in the endzone and will be an absolute terror for DBs to handle in the red zone. He will be off the board by pick 10 in the NFL Draft I'm sure.
