CDS Profile
Anttaj came from Connecticut to play for the Badgers where he was an absolute monster in HS. Every team in America should have been recruiting this guy because he is a top flight DT. Is not overly huge, Hawthorne's forte is pass rush and getting to the QB. Anttaj has a great first step and will manhandle any OL that comes his way. He is a true bull rusher who collapses the pocket by driving the OG and/or C back into the QBs way. This guy is a relentless rusher, but is still also a tackling machine for a big DT and he could maybe move to DE in the 3-4 set in the pros. The second the ball is snapped he is either putting pressure on the QB or tackling the runner. Hawthorne is regarded by many to be the best pure DT in the draft. He very well could have come out last year, but was smart to stay another year to earn 1st or 2nd Round money. Could very well be among the top 3 DTs taken off the board. He has all the tools you look for except enormous size, but he makes up for that with his playmaking ability.
