Niced sized, blue collar trench warrior. Plays with an all out motor and great leverage. He makes his plays with determination and a never quit attitude. The type of hard worker you want on your team, however his limited athlticism will prevent him from being more than a back-up at the next level. At Virginia's Pro day, Hoffman (6-4 3/8, 296) ran the 40 twice in 5.09. He had a 30½-inch vertical jump, 9-foot-2 long jump, 4.70 short shuttle and 20 benches.
