CDS Profile
Very experienced two-year starter at tackle, he is a mountain to get around and moves his feet well for a giant of a man. He was a member of the 2003 Fall Athletic Director’s Honor. His Junior Year (2003), he Started all 12 games at left tackle and was a second-team All-BIG EAST selection, ECAC All-Star and on the Dopke.com All-American Junior Team. His sophomore Year (2002) he started all 11 games, played at left tackle and played on SU’s PAT/FG special teams unit. He really made a name for his self and emerged as one of the top lineman in the Big east. His freshman Year (2001), he played in four games, against Pittsburgh, Temple, Miami and Kansas State in the Insight.com Bowl. Adam was a top high school talent and was rated the No. 9 lineman in the East by PrepStar, was a Tom Lemming All-East and SuperPrep All-Northeast team selection and First-team all-conference and all-state as a junior at Queensbury. He was also selected for the Governor's Bowl All-State Classic New Jersey squad. This year (2004) he has continued to improve and has emerged as one of the top tackles in the entire nation and should get drafted before day one is over. * * Pro Day: ADAM TERRY ran 4.81 short shuttle... 7.85 three-cone... 7'9" broad jump and also did 21 reps of 225 pounds... weighed in at 6077, 325 pounds... also did positional drills... has slipped a bit since the start of the Senior Bowl week, as many felt that he would have the chance to be a solid first-round pick, but is now more likely to be taken in the second round... type of guy that has some upside, but is more of a Jon Jansen (Washington) kind of guy, as he should become a very solid pro, but maybe not that "Franchise" type tackle that teams are looking for.
