There are guys that goes to small school that are better then guys who attend big time school. For example Louis Ellis attends Shaw University Don Carey attend NSU there stats are just as better then most of the guys in the top ten in there own categorys. There are some guys training from what I heard in NC that are bigger and running faster then guys going in the first round of the draft if you don't believe me go take a look yourself CHAVIS PARK RALEIGH NC I promise you that you wouldnt believe the times and how fast those guys are. If I was a scout I would be signing them on spot. Well until next time be safe enjoy life.......

What I am hearing indicates that both Ellis and Carey will be drafted, likely in the 5th/6th range, there are big and fast guys in parks, prisons and UPS loading docks, but that doesn't make them legitimate prospects.

You have point but the point you are missing is that those guys played college football and they are training for the NFL but if I was a scout I would be there trying to sign them

Scouts don't sign players. They scout them. And if they were worth scouting, then there would be scouts there. You'd be surprised at just how far-reaching a net scouting casts nowadays.

By that logic, I'd rather be a scout at USC so I could 'sign' their players.
You sir, are a visionary! You've changed the NFL forever with your smartitude.

Oh, I don't know. We gave him plenty of love. We had him on our 2008 All-American team, and had a breie write up on him as well. (It's been taken down now though, as we are already getting ready for the 2009 season and the 2010 draft.)
All the best and GOOD LUCK to your cousin for us!

Speaking of the 2010 draft: You KNOW who has the best name in the entire draft.........Scott Sicko, TE for University of New Hampshire(FCS). I love how Jon Ritchie(former raider, eagle, color commetator for Comcast Network) put it. "Scott Sicko not only has the BEST name in all of college football, he has some of the best hands as well."
He's got the goods. 6'4", 245lbs, 4.7-40, 35" vert, runs excellent routes, cathces everything, blocks well but has room to improve. Several sites say he'll go between 4th and 6th round.
What other "Football" names will there be in the 2010 draft???

Jamarko Simmons, WR Western Michigan- Simmons went undrafted, and he has now signed with the Packers. Simmons is a 230-pound wideout that runs a 4.5 40-time. He displays fantastic strength, ability to catch the ball in traffic, and has great potential in terms of route running. For the first two years of his collegiate career, he played RB. The fact that he lacks a completely natural position and his lack of lateral quickness (4.39 shuttle time) caused him to go undrafted, along with his character issues. However, he is a perfect fit for the West Coast Offense in Green Bay due to his route running ability and strength off the line of scrimmage. He may be a project, but he will be tutored by one of the best WR coaches in the NFL in Jimmy Robinson.
Also, watch out for JaRon Harris, another UDFA WR for the Green Bay Packers. He has good speed, decent hands, and displays a decent level of awareness. The fact that he's related to Jerry Rice also doesn't hurt.

Carlor is good but Jermaine Clemons a Ft. Scott JC stud has landed at AUPB and he's 5'11" 190, runs around 4.42-4.47 and has really fluid hips.
