Yep, Nate Davis is going pro...I wonder what grade the NFL Advisory Committee gave him? He's a borderline 2nd/3rd guy to me right now...Is he a Joe Flacco type though?

Not much like Flacco. Pretty small, doesn't have the huge arm. Accurate, but from what I've seen doesn't even have a good arm. Hes mobile and has good pocket prescense. I say he falls down the boards to 4-5 and regrets it.

I think his skill set reminds me of Troy Smith.

I can understand that he could drop to the fourth round, but besides Bradford, Stafford, Sanchez, and Freeman who is better than him? He may not have the strongest arm, but going back to school for another year isn't going to make that arm stronger. Plus don't forget that his coach Brady Hoke left for San Diego State and with a new coach he might not have as good of a year. I just don't think that he can improve his stock any higher than it is right now, but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure you guys have seen Nate Davis play or even heard anybody talk about him that has seen him play. Both Herbstreit and the old man went on nonstop about how strong of an arm Davis has. During the game they were commentating, Davis threw the ball so hard that his glove tore. Yep, he wears a glove on his throwing hand! Yet still accurate? Because he has one of the strongest arms in the draft! With that being said, I think he ends up late in round 3, top of round 4.

Davis has a very strong arm, he can make all the throws but tragically their deep threat Dante Love can no longer play football, the fastest receiver left was TE/H-Back Darius Hill. I do think he should have stayed in school, he still has doubters and flaws in his game but arm is not one of them, watch he'll be in the top 3 at the combine in arm. wink.gif
